What does UPF 50+ actually mean?

UPF 50+ fabric blocks at least 98% of UV radiation. It's a rating of the fabric itself, so unlike sunscreen it doesn't wear off or need reapplying through the day.

How do I pick the right size?

Sunday Afternoons kids' hats are sized by age range and have an internal adjuster. If your child sits between two sizes, size up — the adjuster takes up the slack and you'll get another season out of it.

Can the hats get wet?
