☀️ Béaba · Baby Eyewear · 9–24 Months
Clinically designed sun protection — for babies who keep moving.
Developed with opticians, ophthalmologists and osteopaths, the Béaba Delight delivers UV400 Category 3 protection with a flexible hinge, Fit Tech comfort pads and 360° adjustable tips — designed for babies aged 9–24 months.
Category 3 lenses filter 100% of UV rays and are rated for high-exposure environments — beach and mountain included. UV400 certification means protection across the full spectrum of UVA and UVB radiation. Integrated side shields block harmful rays coming from the sides, protecting developing eyes that adults' frames leave exposed.
The Béaba Delight Baby Sunglasses are the result of a genuine clinical collaboration — developed with opticians, ophthalmologists and osteopaths to balance maximum UV protection with all-day comfort for babies aged 9–24 months. Every part of the design has been considered: from the lens category and side shields to the flexible hinge, Fit Tech contact surfaces and 360° adjustable arm tips.
The flexible hinge allows the arms to flex outward without compressing the temples. This is a key comfort feature for extended wear — babies can keep sunglasses on longer without the squeezing sensation that rigid frames cause.
The nose pads, temples and inside of the arms are made from Fit Tech — Béaba's proprietary soft material that adapts to the child's individual facial structure. There are no hard edges or pressure points against the skin, making these suitable for babies who resist wearing sunglasses due to discomfort.

What age are the Béaba Delight sunglasses designed for?
The Béaba Delight Baby Sunglasses are designed for babies aged 9–24 months. The Fit Tech frame contact surfaces, 360° adjustable tips and Clip & Play cord are all sized and adjusted for this age range.
Are the Béaba Delight sunglasses UV400 and Category 3?
Yes. The lenses filter 100% of UV rays and are UV400 certified. Category 3 means they are rated for high-sun environments including beach and mountains — not just everyday shade.
What is the flexible hinge on the Béaba Delight sunglasses?
The flexible hinge allows the arms to flex outward without compressing baby's temples. This eliminates the squeeze sensation that rigid frames cause, allowing for comfortable extended wear.
What is Fit Tech material?
Fit Tech is Béaba's proprietary soft material used on all skin-contact points — nose pads, temples and the inner arm. It adapts to each child's facial structure, eliminating pressure points and making extended wear comfortable.
Can the Béaba Delight sunglasses be fitted with prescription lenses?
Yes. The Béaba Delight frame can be fitted with prescription lenses at most optical shops — making them a practical long-term option for babies who need corrective vision support.
What is the Clip & Play system?
The Clip & Play system is the adjustable elastic cord that clips securely to the sunglasses frame. It keeps the glasses on baby's head during active play, sports and movement — and is adjustable for a precise fit.
Do the Béaba Delight sunglasses come with a case?
Yes — a hard protective case to keep lenses scratch-free in your nappy bag, and a microfibre pouch for lens cleaning are both included.
