Are these sunglasses UV400 and Category 3?
Yes. UV400 means 99–100% of UV rays are blocked. Category 3 filters 82–92% of visible light — suitable for bright beach and sunny days, not just shade.
What is Fit Tech material?
Béaba's proprietary flexible frame material — lightweight, soft to touch, moulds gently to baby's face. The frame bends back to shape when dropped and cannot crack or splinter.
Do the sunglasses come with a case?
Yes — a hard protective case to keep lenses scratch-free in your nappy bag, a soft microfibre cleaning pouch, and an adjustable elastic retention cord.
What are the side shields for?
Integrated side shields block angled sunlight coming in from the sides of the frame — especially important for babies whose eyes are still developing and more UV-sensitive than adults'.
How do I clean the lenses?
Use the included microfibre pouch to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid abrasive cloths or spray cleaners, which can degrade the UV coating. Rinse with fresh water after salt water or sunscreen exposure before wiping.
